The Samaritan House Ministries Resource Centre offers a number of programs to provide food, training, care, and teaching to clients.
Food Hamper Program
The Samaritan House Ministries Food Bank is Manitoba's second largest food bank, distributing between 60 - 80 food hampers per day! This number is steadily rising and Samaritan House Ministries is dedicated to providing healthy food for struggling individuals and families in our community.

Nearly 50% of our clients are children.

Roughly 20,000 hampers are distributed per year.

We need more than 147,000 pounds of food each year to provide for our clients' basic food needs.

All of the food we distribute is generously donated by community, corporate and private donors.
With a valid Manitoba Health card, a food hamper is provided once per month to individuals and families. Extra bread and vegetables are provided once per week, if available, Monday to Friday. Clients must register and will be given an appointment time to pick up a hamper.

Monday-Friday: 10:00am - 3:00pm
Tuesday Evening: 4:00pm - 5:30pm
