Mary's House

Mary’s House provides four second-stage safe housing units for women and their children who have been victims of domestic violence. Second-stage houses provide opportunity to women who need time beyond their stay in transition houses to make plans to live independently. Women and their children usually stay in a second-stage house for 6 - 18 months. While there, they are involved in Mary’s House programs.

Our Mary’s House project employs a Women’s Counselor and a Children’s Counselor who work with the women and children while they are in residence.

The Mary’s House project is funded by Family Violence Prevention Branch of Manitoba Family Services and Housing.
